Excluded names are names of plants for which I could find no documentation confirming their occurrence within the Taxonomic Data Center (TDC) area. These plants appear to represent nothing more than cultivated species or species that have been erroneously attributed to North America.
Anomalous names are those for which a problem exists, i.e., name that was never published validly or the name is of uncertain application, etc.
