Checklist Format

In checklist format, the synonyms are listed after the accepted name of the taxon.  Accepted names are in bold.  Synonyms are in normal font.  For example, the Silver Maple, Acer saccharinum, and its four synonyms would appear like this:

      Acer saccharinum

           <Acer dasycarpum

           <Acer saccharinum var. laciniatum

           <Acer saccharinum var. wieri

           <Argentacer saccharinum

The other format for viewing synonyms is thesaurus format.
